Cool Cold Brew exists to disrupt the chilled coffee drinks market with healthier cold brew coffee drinks.

Most chilled coffee drinks contain many unnatural ingredients and masses of sugar. We have created a range of tasty and no added/refined sugar drinks with just 4 grams of naturally occurring sugars and 54 calories on average per carton. Cold brew has seen a massive 580% growth in sales over the past five years (2011-2016) and is within a European category currently worth £1.28bn and forecast to be worth £1.43bn by 2022. With the rise of healthy living and eating alongside the premiumisation of coffee there is a huge opportunity for healthier and better quality chilled coffee drinks.

Cool Cold Brew is an opportunity to invest in a newly launched brand where we've spent the last 18 months testing the market, honing our business strategy, designing a strong brand, partnering and running trials with our scalable BRC accredited manufacturers here in the UK.

This alone has led to over 20 independents interested in listings alongside 3 regional distributors. We are also in discussions with Selfridges and Sainsbury’s and are aiming to launch into these retailers before the end of 2017.

Funds will be used to bring the new range of Cool Cold Brew drinks to market; provide working capital to grow our distribution network; grow the brand and to develop our team.

We're currently a lean, but highly motivated, energetic and effective team. We're planning to expand and develop our team post investment to grow Cool Cold Brew much further.

Joe Devereux-Kelly - Founder

Originally discovering cold brew coffee in the United States in 2010, Joe noticed the UK market for cold brew beginning to develop in 2015 and has since tested the market with an earlier product, developed Cool Cold Brew’s supply chain and gained interest from national retailers.

Odelle Hogg - Head of Marketing

Having worked in media and advertising agencies including Republic of Media and Dentsu Aegis, Odelle has delivered campaigns for brands across sectors including FMCG. Since joining Cool Cold Brew, Odelle has worked with Joe on developing our new brand and marketing strategy.

Cool Cold Brew is also supported by a group of highly respected successful mentors and advisors including three FMCG brand founders, coffee experts, commercial lawyers and sustainability advisor.

In year one, our focus is to produce and launch our core range and achieve solid UK national distribution and begin expanding our European footprint. We plan to grow sales with our focus being retail listings including confirming contract listings with Selfridges, Sainsbury's and more.

We then plan to grow further and cement our position as the 'go-to cold brew' brand in the UK by then launching new variants including new flavours, packaging sizes and new products focussed on the health and fitness sector, alcohol and more.

Funds will be used to bring the new range of Cool Cold Brew drinks to market and provide working capital to grow our distribution network; to grow our brand through marketing and sales and to develop our team.

We want you to be part of our journey and we believe in the next 5-10 years Cool Cold Brew could make for an attractive acquisition from a larger food and beverage group generating a strong return for our investors. Examples of exits in the beverage industry include, Camden Town Brewery who sold to ABInBev in 2015 for £85m. The business turnover was £9.5m in the previous year. Innocent sold a 32% equity stake to Coca Cola Enterprises in 2013 for an estimated £100m, putting the value of the business in the region of £320m. The business turnover was £196.4m in previous year.
